Zhujiajiao – Shanghai’s historical and charming Venice like town

The Fangsheng Bridge is the biggest one in the town and is artistically ornamented with a stone tablet of dragons and 4 lion statues. The Lang Bridge is the only wooden one in the area.

Zhujiajiao is also home to several beautiful gardens that are filled with lush greenery and shrubberies. Many of the gardens in the town were once privately owned but have now been made open by the government for public visitation. The Ke Zhi Garden is a must see as it is the largest one in the town and is a lovely sight to behold.
